Sign up for JAMS Summer Band Camp NOW! People really like coming to JAMS. We hear it all the time, and we love it. But that wasn’t our primary objective when we opened our doors, it was simply to provide the best musical instruction in the area. By tailoring education to the needs of the individual, we help students realize their true potential. We truly believe that this is one of the most important things one can learn, not just in music, but in life. And that is why JAMS is a place where parents and students trust to find a professional, yet relaxed, learning environment with a variety of unique programs and talented, friendly teachers. But we’re not just the best, Other studios begin and end with traditional private instruction. While we too believe that private lessons are paramount, we also believe that they are only the first step in a progression that logically leads to performance. Our higher goal has now become putting students on stage, under the lights - showing them how to learn from and interact with other musicians. Half-hour sessions with a live drum instructor, for all levels. Learn rhythm and performance one-on-one - or with a friend. It’s definitely a student favorite. JAMS students will be getting a ‘sneak preview’ of performanceJAMS starting the first week of December. And now what lots of you have been waiting for:
This is our recital turned rock concert. Groups practice together, weekly for three months, to put together a full rock show for friends and family. Students playing a real rock concert on stage – bring your vidcams.
With the recent addition of another new lesson studio, we are also proud to announce that this year we have partnered with Menchey Music (the largest music store in South PA), and will once again offer band instrument rentals – along with everything else you will need: books, accessories, reeds, cleaning kits, repairs, etc. We are also in the process of enhancing our stage! We are very pleased to have another new partnership with Threshold Productions and the Carroll County Extreme Music Corps. (C.C.E.M.C.). This means new sound system for live shows and a full-service recording studio as well! Re-Enrollment is underway! All existing students/parents (and previous students as well) will need to re-register this fall. As we update our technologies behind the counter, we will enter everyone fresh into the new system.
